Job Descriptions and Responsibilities
This role is a member of the Bangkok based Thailand Actuarial Services team responsible for the areas of reporting, reserving and pricing.
Reserving
Preparing data for quarterly reviews of recommended reserves on specified lines of business.
Performing ad-hoc reserving analyses as required
Pricing
Assistance with ad-hoc pricing projects
Pricing analysis of selected portfolios
Reporting
Preparation of cashflow forecasting, Price monitoring, Frequency/severity, Large loss lists, Final data summary
Data preparation for external actuaries
Maintenance of databases and downloads for reports
Various other reports as assigned
Qualifications
Degree in Mathematics/Science-based or equivalent
Experience of Actuarial work is preferable
Proficiency in Excel, Access and programming skill are advantages
Good attitude and a high level of team working
Comfortable and effective in verbal and written communications in English language is an advantage
