Job Descriptions and Responsibilities
Manage and control standardize for database development
Integrate information from multiple sources for efficient execution in a dynamic environment
Design, document and build physical database environments from tables, columns, indexes and view definitions to storage requirements, drive spacing and growth accommodation
Design & document data security and asset protection techniques that meet business requirements
Analyze business and technical requirement as well as logical data model to understand the detail data management requirement
Designs and develops a system as needed
Manage vendor

Qualifications
Degree in Computer science, Computer Engineering, IT or related field
5 years of MS SQL Server working experience including SQL Server 2000/2005 operations and 3 years of analysis
Excellent analytical skills
Experience working with and within cross functional development, QA, Test and Production teams
Thorough knowledge in SQL scripts, stored procedures, triggers, functions and transactions analysis, thorough understanding of indices and statistics (query Optimizer) in both 2000 and 2005 databases
Strong knowledge of SSIS/SSRS concepts including and not limited to : star schemas, snowflakes, ETL processes, dimensional modeling and reporting tools
Pursue a proactive approach to problem solving
Good command of written and spoken English
SQL Server 2005 DBA certification is a plus
Knowledge in securities business is an advantage
