PETROLEUM ENGINEER - Chevron Thailand Exploration and Production

Job Descriptions and Responsibilities
Well test design and evaluation.
Planning and developing production scenarios for commercialization.
Resource and reserves assessment and booking.
Work closely with Earth Scientists, Drilling, and Business Planning in developing and executing the appraisal work program. Integration of engineering and geological data.
Provide technical input and support to the generation of strategic and business plans.
Provide support for developing Reserves/Resource submittals.
Participate in Operating and Technical Committee meetings with partners.
Assist in technical discussions with partners and DMF. Ensure partners and DMF technical requirements are met. Responsible for PE interface with DMF, including all required reporting responsibilities.
Mentor and training of national staff.
Demonstrates and consistently applies ChevronTexaco Way behaviors, with particular emphasis on HSE and operational excellence.

Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Petroleum or Chemical Engineering
Significant experience in reservoir engineering
Strong engineering background, with a primary focus on reservoir management
Experience in implementing well testing and development programs
Strong reservoir engineering background: Primary focus on reservoir management and experience in implementing well testing and development programs
Strong all-round background in other aspects of Petroleum Engineering and related functions: well testing, completions, production engineering, and drilling
Require qualified and motivated professionals who have very good interpersonal skills, demonstrated spoken and written English & Thai proficiency, and strong computer skills.
