Business Manager - PPG Coatings - Petaling Jaya

Job Descriptions and Responsibilities
Manage short and long term sales, marketing and training plan for Refinish business.
Develop and implement business strategies, pricing structure, increase market share, maximize profits, effective credit control and budget control.
Manage the supply chain, inventory planning and working capital requirements as well as transportation, administration, safety health & environmental matters.
Coach and develop staff to keep abreast of the changing requirements and demands by customers.
Identifies and develops new business and market opportunities
Coordinate with technical, finance, supply chain, manufacturing and human resources and leads organization development in order to achieve market position.
Very well versed with the Refinish industry.

Qualifications
A business degree or equivalent with 8 to 10 years sales, marketing or general management experience.
Excellent leadership skills to coordinate across a matrix organization and distant geographies.
Strong organization skills and management capabilities as well as multi-functional knowledge in operations and technical.
Highest ethical standards and concern for PPG's best interests.
Business financial skills (understanding budget, financial analysis - balance sheet / P&L, setting pricing, cost management etc).
Excellent people/communication skills for internal and external contacts; good influencing skills
Independent, self motivated and self organized.
Posses strategic thinking as well as tactical focus.
