General Manager : Pakse Golf Club, Lao 1 position
Golf Course General Manager is senior executives who report to an owner and board of directors on all management functions. This includes operating procedures, practices and financial results of a club.
Responsibilities:
Offer information and promote local area
Oversee the club operations
Complete financial management tasks, such as development of a budget and managing the payroll
Oversee office operations
Oversee operation of retail and food and beverage outlets
Manage human resource functions, such as recruitment, training and disciplining of staff
Oversee turf management, maintenance and facility repair operations
Qualifications
Degree or diploma in business, tourism or recreation is an asset
Minimum 5-10 years working experience in golf course club or hospitality business
Previous management experience is required
Knowledge of golf club operations is required
Excellent customer service skills
Knowledge of turf grass management is necessary
Financial management skills an asset
Human resource management skills
Operations management skills
Sales and marketing skills
Excellent communication skills
Knowledge of food and beverage and retail operations is an asset
Excellent organizational skills
Membership in or certification from professional golf associations may be required
